DEDICATED to FASHIONOriginally founded by Antonio López Moreno as a family business in 1956, the Pura López footwear line has been part of the Spanish shoe industry for generations. In the late 1980s, after studying interior and fashion design in Alicante, Valencia and New York, Pura took over as designer and refashioned the company into her eponymous Pura López line. Bringing a blend of whimsy, fantasy, and functionality to the table, Pura has a strong vision for women's footwear: "Shoes are a form of communication; they transmit the personality of those who is wear them."
